Matchmaking Rubric

NewsHi,

How matching scores your opportunities. The hard gates - NAICS, state, set-aside, and your exclusions - decide which opportunities match at all. This rubric only scores the matches: each component you hit earns its weight, and the score is the weighted share of the components your profile can hit, out of 100.

How Each Component Contributes

ComponentWhat Earns It
NAICS MatchThe opportunity's NAICS codes include one of your profile's NAICS codes.
Set-Aside FitThe opportunity's set-aside matches one of your certifications.
Place Of PerformanceThe opportunity is performed in one of your profile's states.
KeywordsOne of your keywords appears in the opportunity's title or description.
Deadline WindowThe opportunity has a live (not yet passed) response deadline.

Scores display as "Match Score N/100" on match cards. A match with at least one component hit scores between 3 and 98. Raising a component's weight makes matches that hit it score higher; it never changes which opportunities match.
